Overall calm relaxing hotel away from the Big Sky Village area and surrounded by the mountains. The breakfast is great, the hot tub was very nice, the bar was good. The rooms themselves are a bit odd in the layout but are still well maintained. Would be nice if it was a little closer to Big Sky but the drive is not bad at all.

The property is gorgeous but it's on the main road, so there is road noise. The rooms are very well appointed with frig and microwave. The shower and sink need to be renovated. The breakfast was great but the coffee brand should be replaced. Dinner was great but prices are too high and not aligned to the area. Bed was very very comfortable!!

Our stay at Rainbow Ranch Lodge in Big Sky was nothing short of magical. The views, the atmosphere, and especially the food made this a truly unforgettable experience. Dinner at Wild Caddis was exceptional. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Nick, a Montana native with a background in farming, who took the time to talk with us about his journey and his approach to food. After he explained how he makes his French onion soup, I had to order it — and it was hands down the best French onion soup I’ve ever had. Truly magical. Everything we ordered was outstanding: the corn chowder, mushroom goat cheese wontons, beet salad, Caesar salad, huckleberry chicken, and the short rib — each dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Breakfast was just as amazing and set the tone for the day. The staff throughout the lodge were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The bartenders were on point — Stephen was great conversation, and while I sadly can’t remember the other bartender’s name, she made me the most delicious huckleberry cocktail. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Add in the stunning scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and exceptional service, and this place truly delivers on every level. We can’t wait to visit again. Five stars across the board!

My gf and I stayed here back in July for 3 or 4 days and it was absolutely amazing. From the food to the staff and the beautiful views we woke up to each morning. Lena did an amazing job as our server keeping up with everything we were asking for as well as the other guest and being very polite. When we sat at the bar, Steve was just awesome. Keeping us entertained and always engaging with us and making amazing cocktails. As for the rooms being able to hear the river at night and seeing the beautiful scenery of the back porch made us not want to leave. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were quite nice as well. I also liked being able to fish at their stocked pond. We split our trip at 2 separate lodges and wish we would have just stayed here for the duration of our trip. Hope to be back soon and explore more.

My parents are visiting from out of town. Faith took care of us and made our night so special and cozy. Thank you for everything. Food was phenomenal and my dad was raving about his desert like a child. See you again!

We chose rainbow ranch last minute as we were driving to Yellowstone, and we are so glad we did. My boyfriend and I loved the rooms because they were spacious and well decorated. On top of beautiful views the staff is top notch. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and went above and beyond to accommodate us during our two day stay. Our bartender Savannah was phenomenal and let us talk her ear off all night. The sommelier Keith helped to educate us further about wine in a non judge mental way. The service we received during our stay was worth twice the amount of money that we actually were charged. We look forward to coming back again in the future!
